| San Miguel, Mexico
A sometimes crowded cobblestone right-hand
point break that zippers and peels down a cobblestone
point.
There is a second bay which can connect on a
big enough swell, but there is a nice big rock
right where the two bays connect. On bigger
days you can also just surf the second point.
A great wave. Usually better on lower tides.
The
paddle-out can be slippery at times, watch the
locals and time the sets to avoid being rolled
down the point on the rocks, it happens to people
all the time!
There
is a $5 charge to park, $10 to camp. There is
a shower and toilets there too. Never leave
you board under the car overnight while camping,
I have heard several reports of boards being
ripped off this way.
It
is located just north of Ensenada, you can see
it from the toll road, it's right next to the
toll plaza.
You
can seeTodos Santos from here, and probaly meet
someone and find a boat to get out there on.
